Episode 15 | Happy World Mental Health Day to the Healers
EPISODE SUMMARY
In this special guided practice, LeNaya Smith Crawford invites therapists, mental health professionals, healers, and entrepreneurs to pause and remember that their mental health matters, too.
In honor of World Mental Health Day, this episode offers a moment to reconnect with yourself through gentle movement, mindful breathing, reflection, and sound. Guided by the affirmation “I am healthy,” LeNaya encourages you to honor your mind, body, and spirit by making space for movement, nourishment, rest, and self-care.
Whether you’re a therapist, healer, leader, or someone who spends much of their time caring for others, this practice is an invitation to slow down, release judgment, and remember that you are worthy of the time it takes to care for yourself.
Because as we support our clients and communities in healing, we must also make our own well-being a priority.
GUIDED PRACTICE HIGHLIGHTS
-
Grounding and connection: Settle into a comfortable position and reconnect with your body and natural breath.
-

-
Mindful closing: Return to your natural breathing, notice what comes up with love and curiosity, and gently reconnect with your surroundings.
TODAY'S GUIDING AFFIRMATION
I am healthy.
I honor my mind, body, and spirit by giving it what it needs to be healthy and happy.
I will add more time for movement, healthy foods, water, rest, and self-care.
Doing things to nourish my soul so I can pour from a full cup.
I choose to honor my needs.
I am healthy.
A GENTLE REMINDER FOR THE HEALERS
You are worthy of the time it takes to nourish your mind, body, and soul.
You are worthy of prioritizing your mental health. You are worthy of rest, healing, and care, too.
As you continue your work helping others, remember that caring for yourself is an important part of the journey. Give yourself permission to pause, listen to your needs, and make space for your own well-being.
This World Mental Health Day, remember to pour into yourself, too.
